restore sense to our nation—

a new Bethlehem
with not just wise men but polar bears and penguins—
full restoration

of life-possible on earth through empathy and passion
in the face of smug hypocrisy.
Our sorely-abused nation

shall rise to this great occasion
to help create a new community
of life through the restoration
of Nature.
