Always Interested

Disinterested
is a disingenuous
word.
You only say
disinterested when you
want
something—money,
sex, praise, you name it. That is,
you
want something, but
you’re trying to be the
Knight
of Infinite
Resignation
. You're a fraud
and a hypocrite.
Why don’t you just take what you want?
it
may be there for you if you
ask.
     . . .
No, you’re not a
bit disinterested. But you
know
you’ll receive more if
you wait—gratification
stayed.
